My Compactor's motor runs but the presshead does not move?

If your baler/compactor's motor starts but the presshead does not move the possible reasons are:

  • If the machine is newly installed the motor rotation may be incorrect
  • The unit may have insufficient hydraulic oil

My compactor's container was just hauled and now the compactor does not work

Check that the "Hauler Safety Switch" is turned to the on position.

My Self Contained Compactor will not start

If your self contained compactor was recently hauled, the hauler may not have reconnected the hoses from the power unit correctly. Make sure that the hoses are connected and that the connections are tight.
